Q: What kind of church is this?
 

A: Morrilton First is an evangelical Multi-Cultural Assembly of God church with a message of God's grace for Conway County and surrounding areas. The term "evangelical" means we believe Jesus Christ is the source of forgiveness of sins and the answer for every need. 


Q: What should I expect if I worship with you?

 
A: Expect to hear a Christ-centered message with practical application. Expect to celebrate the goodness and grace of God with upbeat and exciting music from today's  worship leaders as well as the songs you grew up on like Amazing Grace, There’s power in the Blood, and When we all get to heaven featuring our band and praise singers. Expect to see multimedia or dramatic presentations which present biblical truths in everyday language.

Q: Do you have baptism and communion?

 
A: Yes. Baptism and communion are provided "as needed" to the congregation and to any believer in Christ. We are an "open church," meaning you don't have to be a member of Morrilton First to participate in communion.

 

Q: What should I wear?
 

A: Wear whatever is comfortable. If you like to dress up (suit and tie) or down (blue jeans and t-shirts) it doesn't matter to us, nor do we think it matters to God. God doesn't reside in a temple anymore; we don't come to "visit Him" in church, and He sees us every moment of every day no matter what we're wearing. We believe He's more impressed by your love for Him than your new outfit.

 

Q: What programs do you have for school-age children and youth?
 

A: We have staff and a number of volunteers who provide a wide range of challenging and exciting activities for children and youth of all ages. Our children and youth are being equipped to put their faith into action! If you'd like more information, contact us at the church office 501-354-3383.

 

Q: Where do I go if I have a specific question?
 

A: Responsibilities at Morrilton First are divided into four broad leadership teams: Pastor, Staff, Deacons and Trustees. The church staff is professionally trained to give guidance to the daily ministerial needs of the congregation. 

Q: Do you have a nursery?
 

A: Yes! Our nursery is first-rate! Paid and volunteer workers combine to provide a warm and fun atmosphere for children birth - 3 years of age. The nursery is open during all church-wide worship experiences. You'll feel good about leaving your "little one" in our care. Don't be surprised by our safety precautions. We take seriously the responsibility to keep your child safe.

 

Q: Why do you extend a formal invitation at the end of the message?
 

A: Morrilton First believes the most effective means of initiating a relationship with Christ is to make the process as personal as possible. Trusting Jesus as your Savior is the most important decision you'll ever make. If you need to talk to one of our staff a time will be made possible for you to do that. If you don't know to pray one of our Altar workers will be there to pray with you.
